About Troop 333

Troop 333 is a high adventure troop that enjoys a very diverse set of experiences.  From lakeside in Orange Park, Florida to the rolling hills of Scotland, from Cumberland Island to Philmont Scout Ranch, troop 333 scouts have literally been around the world.  Our long heritage in Jacksonville puts us in a terrific position to enjoy all the good things scouting has to offer. Please visit the calendar section of the website for a list of the upcoming trips and events.  Also, please visit the photo galleries from some of our trips to get a glimpse into the good times we have as we learn and grow.

Troop 333 is a youth run organization with adult advisors. A multi-denominational format enriches the experience as the scouts see things from many perspectives.  Our group of active adults has as much fun as the scouts and also benefits from the many learning opportunities offered by Boy Scouts of America.

A focus on FUN with an emphasis on LEADERSHIP provides our scouts a great opportunity to work their way to the rank of Eagle in a comfortable, thorough and well paced environment. When obtaining the rank of Eagle in Troop 333, the scout and everyone who knows them, understands the value of their accomplishment and the positive impact the ‘path to Eagle’ has and will have on them as they advance through life.

Weekly meetings are on most Mondays from 7:00 to 8:30 at the Moose Lodge #42.  Each meeting consists of skills training, planning, and fun. Please send an e-mail to scouttroop333@gmail.com with a contact number so I can call you to discuss our program.  I look forward to sharing the fun and excitement of Troop 333 with you.

Sincerely,

Joe Krier

Troop Meetings

We meet from 7 - 8:30 p.m. most Mondays during the school year. Adult and youth leaders frequently arrive between 6 - 6:30 pm to prepare facilities for that night's meeting. While at meetings, Scouts are expected to respect Moose Lodge property and to act in a Scout-like manner.  Please feel free to stop by and visit with us any Monday night, except on Monday night after a campout. This night we have a leadership meeting.
